Horspath’s apparently unstoppable assault on the league title continued as they brushed aside Banbury 2nd with the minimum of fuss.

Shahbaz Ali took 5-26 as Banbury compiled 166 all out, Ed Phillips stroking 57 and Hugh Gimber 48.

The visitors timed the run- chase to perfection, winning by six wickets with an over to spare thanks to Jimmy Phil-lips (91) and Robbie Eason (45).
