Matthew Hemming’s 7-42 set up Shipton-under-Wychwood 2nd’s home win over Cumnor 2nd, who were bowled out for 162.

Adam Jones then took 5-61 to put Shipton in deep trouble, but veteran Paul Hemming (56no) and Marcus Ireland (35no) closed out a three-wicket win.

Ian Bryan hit 102 as Great & Little Tew 2nd dominated against Wallingford without ever looking like forcing a win.

Piers Myatt added 36 not out as Tew finished on 243-7.

Myatt then took 4-22, but the visitors were never in danger while Darren Grist (59no) was at the crease and closed on 157-6.

Excellent knocks by Neil Davies (70no) and Sam Shearer (67) helped Chearsley overcome Oxford 3rd by six wickets.

Oxford’s 195 all out was built around James Smith’s 40, but the hosts eased home with more than five overs to spare.

Leighton Buzzard Town 2nd’s decision to field first backfired when Buckingham Town 2nd declared on 253-8, Nick Cadman making a top score of 56.

Leighton could manage only 164-8 in reply.

Kimble also regretted fielding first as Stefan Read hammered an unbeaten 89 in Stokenchurch’s 254-7.

Sam Agace’s undefeated 30 helped Kimble to 124-7.
