OXFORDSHIRE have signed Gareth Andrew for the remainder of the season.
The all-rounder has played 96 first-class matches for Somerset, Worcestershire and Hampshire.
He goes straight into the squad for Sunday’s Unicorn’s Trophy fixture against Hertfordshire.
Andrew, 34, has taken 238 first class wickets with his medium-fast bowling and has made nearly 3,000 runs.
After solely playing T20 cricket so far this summer, Oxfordshire start their 50-over campaign with a trip to Welwyn Garden City in the
knockout competition, entering
after receiving a bye in the first round.
Young Great & Little Tew all-rounder Tom Price comes in for his competitive senior debut and Aston Rowant’s Miles Hammond makes his first appearance in this
competition.
After a good start to the summer, Oxford captain Jamie Perkin returns to the side for the first time in over a year.
