CHRISTIAN von Eitzen will compete for Germany at the European Junior Championships at Eskilstuna, Sweden, tomorrow.
The 18-year-old Vale of Aylesbury runner, from Abingdon, will line up in the first round of the 800m.
Von Eitzen, who attends Abingdon School, missed last weekend’s English Schools’ Track and Field Championships in Gateshead due to his selection.
TEG Jones, of Witney Road Runners, set a course record in winning the half marathon at the Adderbury Three Spires Challenge.
Jones won in 1hr 20mins 8secs to post a new fastest time on the Snake Hill route.
White Horse Harriers' duo Mark Lane and Ian Lambourn finished sixth and seventh respectively.
