Oxford City’s Hannah England finished third in the BUPA Great North One Mile on Saturday.
The 27-year-old recorded 4mins 35.47secs for the road race, which starts in Newcastle and finishes on the street track in Gateshead.
Laura Muir took victory in 4.34.84.
Mo Farah won the Great North Run in a time of 1hr exactly.
