OXFORD’S Hannah England is relishing competing in the Great North City Games mile race today, writes STUART WEIR.
England bids to improve on last year’s third place when she races in Gateshead at 3.14pm.
“I really enjoy the Great North City Games,” she said.
“It is pretty unique in Britain to have an annual road mile like this. I love coming here every year.
“I have had a frustrating season, but I am still excited to compete.
“I am not injured and I am enjoying running, so there is no reason not to carry on competing.”
