After the opening match went the way of Benson 13-11, Stanford hit back to win the second 14-12 and claim a draw.

CORRRECTION
IN last week’s Oxford Mail we reported that Graham Morbey will represent Oxfordshire at the National Champions of Champions Singles at Worthing next year.
However, the competition Morbey won was an internal Oxfordshire competition and he does not qualify for any other event.
