DIDCOT Casuals stormed to the top of Division 1 with an 11-0 victory over East Hendred, who ended with eight men, writes Phil Annets.

There were no red cards for Hendred, whose depletion was caused by a combination of injury and illness.

Fletcher Hoey, Lawrence Hoey and Paul Powell bagged a brace apiece, while Jake Chaffey, JR Willis, Tom Ingram, Dan Cox-Rogers and Lee Fuller all also scored.

Saxton Rovers move up to second and remain unbeaten after winning 2-0 at Harwell International, thanks to an Adam Greenaway effort and a Dan Thomas strike.

Faringdon Town won 4-1 at Childrey United to climb to third.

Robbie Harrington, Dan Hoskin, Paul Hulme, Liam Humphreys scored their goals, Childrey replying through Steve Vaux.

Early pacesetters Wootton & Dry Sandford went down 2-0 at home to Berinsfield, for whom Aaron Stockford and David Murphy netted.

Connor Mattimore and Mike Littleworth scored a brace each which, alongside an own goal, sealed a 5-0 win for AFC Wallingford over Benson AFC.

Chris Hogan hit a hat-trick for Ardington & Lockinge as they beat Benson AFC Res 5-1 in Division 2.

Tom Bennett and Jonny Eudell also scored with Dave Polley netting for the hosts.

Drayton won 3-1 at home to Marcham, thanks to an Ashley Seamark double and a Gareth Small strike. Shane Moorcroft replied.

Childrey United Res remain top of Division 3 despite conceding their first league goal of the season in their 1-1 draw at Didcot Casuals Res. John Wick scored for the leaders, with Rhys Griffith replying.

Radley secured their second successive victory with a 4-2 win at Stanford in the Vale. Mark Nicholl (2), Luke Ambler and Rich Hathaway scored, Tyrone Mayall bagging two for Stanford. Hanney United made it five matches without dropping a point in Division 4 beating Ardington & Lockinge Res 5-1 at home.

Andy Hope (2), Richard Hughes, Paul Freeman and Sam Bishop scored their goals, with Luke Wilkins replying for Ardington.

There was an upset in the second round of the North Berks Trophy as Division 2 side Dorchester won 3-2 at Division 1 outfit Sutton Courtenay.

Luke Bennett and Adam Foster scored for Sutton, but Jamie Fleet’s double and a Billy Warner effort won the game for the lower league side.

Wantage Town A were winning 5-1 at home to Wootton & Dry Sandford Res in the first round of the Nairne Paul Cup when the game was abandoned on 88 minutes due to a serious leg injury to Wootton’s Jamie Madge.

Marc Reid (2), Toby Daley, Alex Lynch and Liam Bint all scored for Wantage and Chris Shahab replied.
