Stanton Harcourt’s David Cooper was taken to hospital after being knocked unconscious in their Division 1 encounter with Aston, writes Anthony Barlow.

Cooper was accidentally kicked in the head, but after a visit to the John Radcliffe Hospital, was later released.

The game ended goalless, thanks to Stanton Harcourt keeper Chris Montgomery, who saved a penalty for the second successive week, this time denying Joe Wood, as they stayed top.

George Slatter hit a hat-trick as Chadlington beat Kingham AB 6-1.

Martin Plumbridge and Richard Ingram completed their tally, with Matt Smith replying for Kingham.

FC Nomads hammered FC Mills 6-0, with Chris Lawrence (2), James Hookins, Chris Johnson, Darren Craig and Mike Hole on target.

Goals from Joey Burgess and Glenn Willett sealed a 2-0 win for Hanbo-rough Res against Freeland A.

Witney Royals crushed Spartan Rangers 4-0, Luke Rippington, Matt Thompson, Tom Kempster and Phil Simmonds the scorers.

Second-placed West Witney lost ground on the leaders after being held to a 2-2 draw by Carterton A.

Luke Simmonds and Jason Lonsdale scored for Carterton, with Karl Dodds and Danny King replying. Charlbury Town had keeper Tom Such sent off in a 3-0 loss to Hailey.

The game was 0-0 when Such brought down Joel King and dismissed.

Dave Brown put away the resulting penalty, with goals from Jack Bennett and Craig Mays sealing the win.

Aston Leach (2), Scott Akers, Dan Smith and Liam Harris were on target as Hanborough won 5-2 at North Leigh A. Craig Greenhaugh and Lewis Hathaway replied for North Leigh. John Ayres hammered a hat-trick in Eynsham SSC’s 5-1 win over Middle Barton in Division 2.

Mike Barker and Matt Walker were their other scorers, with Ashley Scearce netting for the visitors.

Sam Philpott scored six in Chipping Norton Town Res’s 10-1 thrashing of Freeland B in Division 3.

Keiron Watts (2), Justin Morgan and Warren Holland completed the rout, with Tom Mason replying.
