LEADERS Horspath 2nd beat Oxford 3rd by seven wickets to guarantee promotion.

Alex Nash (50), Oliver Bishop (48) and Callum Biel (32) steered Oxford to a respectable 195-6 from their 53 overs.

Mohsin Rana took 3-28 and then Stephen Green (65no), Adrian Manger (65) and Jack Biggs (44) fired Horspath to 196-3 in only 35.2 overs.

Cublington are also assured promotion after they won at relegation candidates Hanborough.

Greg Jenkins took 5-18 as the hosts crumbled to 107 all out. Bill Burton then hit an unbeaten 66 as the visitors used 42 overs to reach 108-4.

An unbroken seventh wicket partnership between Sam Smith (72no) and Kevin Taylor (31no) took Great & Little Tew 2nd to victory at Stokenchurch.

The home side had posted 178 thanks to Jack Sears (47) and Aidan Watson (43), while Jack Haggett took 3-26 and Josh Garrett 3-59.

Rob Garrett (42) gave Tew a start before Smith and Taylor finished the job.

Oliver Burney took 7-41 for Buckingham Town 2nd against Cumnor 2nd, but still finished on the losing side.

Cumnor made 187 despite Burney’s heroics, with Harry Ackland (70) to the fore. Dane Bailey then took 4-17 as Town were all out for 126.

Cumnor forfeited five points for failing to provide a scorer.

Tom Wigley (56), Lee Ainsworth (44), Alan Bowman (41), Mark Carey (39) and Ben Denton (31) helped Wallingford rack up 305-5 dec from 47 overs against Leighton Buzzard Town 2nd.

Dave Roberts hit 75, but his team were all out for 155 as Ben Denton took 3-27 and Colin Allen 3-38.
