HANBOROUGH stunned morning leaders Cublington, bowling them out for 173 and clinching a shock 32-run win.

The visitors made 205-9, thanks principally to Andy Oliver (52). Greg Jenkins took 4-56 and Ben Orchard 3-55.

Only Will Simmonds (48) got going for Cublington.

Cublington 7pts, Hanborough 25 Wallingford were just two runs short of pulling off a spectacular run chase at Leighton Buzzard Town 2nd.

Town had made 263-8 from 53 overs thanks to Richard Jenner’s majestic 136 and Chris Hipwell’s 44.

Wallingford reached 262-7, with Andy Benning hitting 83, Warren Ainsworth (61), Mark Carey (42) and Alan Bowman (34).

L Buzzard Town 2nd 15, Wallingford 11 Dean Creed crashed 84 and took 3-16, but rain was the only winner in the derby clash between his Horspath 2nd side and Oxford 3rd.

Horspath finished with 199 all out from 49 overs after Mark Murfett took 5-55.

Oxford managed 121-5, with Callum Biel was 40 not out.

Justin Parker hit 55, Robbie Catling 39 and Dave Powles 34 in Great & Little Tew 2nd’s 163-9 from 46 overs at home to Stokenchurch.

Jack Duffy (32) and Arshad Latif (31) helped the visitors to 125-8. Ian Bryan took 4-26.

Adam Jones and Dave Ackland both hit 48 in Cumnor 2nd’s 136, giving hope of a first win at home to Buckingham Town 2nd.

But Harry Scarr (47) led Town to 139-7. Ed Down took 4-41 and Jones 3-33.
