DARTS: Oxon ready for season's finale

A TOP-three finish provides a major incentive for Oxfordshire this weekend in their final BDO Inter Counties Championship Premier Division fixture.

The squad go into the game in sixth, but the congested mid-table means a win against fourth-placed Glamorgan could lift them up to three positions, depending on results elsewhere.

Oxon do not go into the game in great form, losing 27-12 to title-chasing Lancashire on their previous outing, while Glamorgan were 24-15 winners against struggling Kent.

Belinda Grant will make her debut for the ladies’ A team, who welcome back Sandra Cox to their line-up.

Teresa Price returns to boost the ladies’ B team for the games, which will be played at Riley’s Snooker, Pool and Darts Club on Between Towns Road, Cowley.

Play starts at 12noon on Saturday and 11am on Sunday.
