Ricky De Winton, RTA Didcot’s England captain, won four golds at the English Open Championships at the Guildford Spectrum.

Paris Carbonari struck double golds, with Faye Miller, Alison Fisher, Ryan Wheatley and Tyrese Willett also claiming first places for the Didcot club.

Louise Morrow and Jamie Buchanan bagged a brace of silvers apiece, with Kirsty Miller, Anna Durrance, and Craig Irwin other Didcot silver medallists.

Thomas Hughes-Williams gained a hat-trick of bronzes, with Liam Miller and Anna Durrance picking up two apiece. Harrison Deeley, Jamie Allen, Louis Figon, Ryan Morrow, Melissa Aird and Adam Park completed Didcot’s medal tally with bronzes.

Carbonari and Kirsty Miller now go on to represent England at the European Championships at Sofia, Bulgaria, in May.

Miller, 21, will be seeking to match her gold medal from Euro 2009, while Carbonari, 15, is taking part in her first major international.

It will make her the 19th Didcot member to represent England or Great Britain at the World or European Championships. The Didcot club practise three times a week.
