CHINNOR’S National Colts Cup semi-final at Bedford has been put back to Easter Monday.
The change from April 7 to 9 should allow Chinnor to field a stronger side as some of their youngsters could be in senior action on the Saturday.
This is because Chinnor visit Redingensians in National 3 South West and face Henley in the Oxfordshire Cup final on the same day.
Bedford have won the cup in 2007, 2008, 2010 and 2011 – plus the plate in 2009.
- OXFORD Cavaliers have landed two new sponsors in DSA Accountancy and their honorary president, Leeds Rhinos prop Darrell Griffin.
Money from the Cheltenham-based DSA will go towards the rugby league team’s running costs, while Griffin’s contribution will help set up a youth section.
