Eddie Pepperell will be competing on his home course when the Jamega Pro Golf Tour comes to Frilford Heath today.

Pepperell, who failed in his attempt to make the European PGA tour this year, will tee off over 18 holes along with Frilford assistant professional Sean Elliott in the second of the five tournament winter series, which is sponsored by Titleist Footjoy.

The entry also includes last year’s Order of Merit winner, Lee James, along with Andrew Johnston and Andrew Marshall, who will both make their debut on The 2012 European Tour.

The tour provides competitive tournaments for seasoned European Tour players such as Paul Broadhurst and Roger Chapman.

FRILFORD Heath will host the regional final of the Trilby Tour on Wednesday, May 16.

The top ten from the event will qualify for the national final at Stoke Park on Thursday, August 16.

The amateur tournament, which is televised on Sky Sports, is open to all amateurs through qualifying events.

All players are kitted in a tailored outfit, including a trademark trilby hat.

Four qualifying competitions (Friday, March 30, Monday, April 16, Monday, April 30 and Tuesday, May 8) will also be held at Frilford with one place in the final available to the winner of each event.

Entry to these competitions is £50. To enter visit the William Hunt Trilby Tour website: www.williamhunttrilbytour.com or look under the ‘visitors’ heading at www.frilfordheath.co.uk.
