BICESTER were lucky to scrape a 14-9 win at Gosford All Blacks in the BB&O Premier Division.
Steve Risbridger’s penalty put Bicester ahead, but two Tim Ellis penalties, either side of Chris Bennett’s drop goal, gave Gosford a 9-3 lead.
Bicester had been lacklustre and error-strewn, but pinched it in the final ten minutes with two Risbridger penalties and a Dan Spencer try in between.
Wheatley made it four BB&O Championship wins on the trot with a 35-8 victory at Faringdon.
Russ Neal and Jason Wilson grabbed two tries apiece, with Jason Laman bagging a try, two conversions and two penalties.
