Oxford United have moved quickly to try and ease the potential traffic congestion at the derby game with Swindon next month.
The U’s have arranged a special park & ride bus service to allow fans to get to and from the game.
The club has arranged for a shuttle bus service, provided by Motts Coaches, which will take supporters from Unipart’s car park on Watlington Road directly to the Knights Road bus stop, a short walk to the Kassam Stadium.
United fans can leave their vehicles at Unipart’s secure car park and take the bus to and from the game for just £3 per person.
The buses will run approximately every 20 minutes – beginning at 10am – starting return journeys immediately after the game.
However, pre-booking is essential. No parking or bus travel from this location will be permitted on the day of the match without a valid ticket.
Any supporter wishing to book a space must call the club’s ticket office on 01865 337533 before Monday, February 27.
