Wallingford rowers defied the wintry weather to claim a victory at the Molesey Veterans Head.
Their masters crew of Becky Waller, Sally Axon, Michael Drury, Andy Knight, David Wright, Ted Garlick, Julia Wilks, Katie Currie and cox Mark Wood raced the 3k course, winning the mixed masters D-E coxed eights competition.
In addition to producing the fastest time in their category, they finished a creditable 12th overall.
The race took place downstream from Sunbury Lock to Hampton Church, and it is the second year running that crew members Waller, Knight and Wood have won this category.
Wallingford were due to enter the Henley Fours and Eights last weekend which were cancelled due to weather and ground conditions.
