A DISJOINTED Witney were hammered 38-0 by Salisbury at Hailey Road.
Witney could point to having seven first-team regulars sidelined and saw wing Lewis Collins injured in the warm-up, but Salisbury taught them a lesson.
Wing Tom Pottage scored all of Salisbury’s first half points, with a try, four penalties and a conversion, making it 19-0.
Witney prop Jamie Burke was yellow-carded just before the break, while his opposite number Luke Esnouf suffered the same fate on 70 minutes.
But tries from No 8 Nick Taylor, tight-head Gareth Blackborow and replacement Oliver Linton, plus two Pottage conversions, sealed the win.
