Bicester Ladies won 4-2 away to bottom-of-the-table Maidenhead 3rd to remain joint top of Trysports Premier 2.

Kath Crook and Lilla Venning gave the visitors a 2-1 lead at the break, and further goals from Venning and Ella Weston put the game beyond Maidenhead’s reach, although they did manage to reduce the arrears late on.

Witney were pipped 1-0 by Eastcote in South League Division 3A.

After a goalless first half, Eastcote struck from a short corner to take the spoils.

Denise Shaw was voted Witney’s player-of-the-match for her hard work in defence.

With their first team out of action on Saturday, Oxford 2nd were in the spotlight as they took on Marlow in South League Division 3A at Headington School.

The visitors went a goal up inside the first ten minutes, Oxford hitting back with a fine individual effort from Laura Smyth.

Two more goals saw Marlow 3-1 clear at half-time and although Katie Smith converted a short corner to make it 3-2, Marlow upped a gear to add three more goals.
