FORMER Berinsfield boxer Jordan Flynn will be playing an exciting role in next year’s Olympics in London.
The 15 year-old, who nows fights for the Repton ABC in London, is one of six youngsters from the club chosen to carry the flags into the ring before the fights at the ExCeL Centre.
“Jordan’s thrilled about it,” said his mother, Judith, from the family’s home in Oxford.
Earlier this month, Flynn went with Repton to fight in Denmark, where he recorded one victory and one loss, due to an adjudged low blow.
“Jordan’s doing very well,” said his coach Calvin Wing.
“He’s got such a good reputation, that it’s difficult to fix him up with fights.”
