HOOK Norton conceded no fewer than 40 extras as they lost by five wickets to Cropredy A in a high-scoring Banbury Indoor League Division 2 encounter.
Tom Rothwell’s 32 not out gave Hooky a formidable total of 130, but Cropredy eased home with just one wicket down and seven balls to spare.
Charlie Wise and Tim Coggins led the way with 26no and 25no respectively.
David Eaton proved the matchwinner as Middleton Cheney defeated Azad without losing a wicket.
Eaton claimed 3-22 as Azad were dismissed for 71, before Ryan Markham and Craig Merry – both with 25 not out – saw Middleton home.
