Yate responded when Stone fired just over the bar before half-time.
With North Leigh playing down the slope in the second half, they had hopes of an equaliser However, Yate increased their lead via a well-taken goal by the ever-dangerous Matt Groves, who picked up a half-cleared ball on the right side of the box, evaded a tackle and curled a shot into the far corner from the 12 yards.
Hole went close as North Leigh battled back.
But Yate withstood the pressure.
