Oxford City athlete Hannah England missed out at the Jaguar Academy of Sport Annual Awards at The Savoy, London.
The 24-year-old was nominated for the most inspirational British sportswoman of the year and for the jump off the sofa moment awards after winning silver in the 1,500m at the world championships.
But the former award went to Group 1-winning jockey Hayley Turner, while 400m hurdles world champion Dai Green won the other one.
