WARRINER (Bloxham) landed a double in the finals of the inaugural North Oxfordshire Schools’ Cup under 12 and under 13 rugby competitions at Banbury RFC.
They stormed to a 65-19 win over Blessed George Napier (Banbury) in the under 13 decider.
George Capel led the way for Warriner with five tries, closely followed by Dan Brady with four.
Matthew Swann bagged a brace, with Callum O’Shea and Mika Catania also crossing the Blessed George Napier line.
Warriner they made it a brace of wins with a 30-5 victory over North Oxfordshire Academy in the under 12 final.
Sebi Hartwell (2), Rufus Barker, Nathan Gibbins, Callum O’Connell and Zac Shepherd were the Warriner try scorers.
North Oxfordshire Academy captured the under 13 trophy, beating Bicester Community College 19-10.
The under 12 trophy final saw Blessed George Napier defeat Banbury 46-7.
