Trainer Mark Rimell, who is recovering after breaking his pelvis in four places when he was crushed by a horse on his Leafield gallops, near Witney, last month, enjoyed a timely tonic when Love Tale won at Leicester yesterday.
The two-year-old landed a seven-furlong nursery under Fergus Sweeney, beating Inniscastle Boy by a length and a quarter.
Predominantly a jumps trainer, Rimell was posting his first Flat winner this season with the 16-1 shot.
