Captain Tim Ellis’s late penalty earned Gosford All Blacks a 24-22 victory at home to Swindon College in the BB&O Premier Division.
Gosford scored first in a topsy-turvy clash when centre James Barrett burst through and Ellis converted.
Swindon hit back with Scott Buchanan’s penalty and his conversion of Darren Johnson’s try.
Gosford led 18-15 at home half-time, with Harry Sutton touching down and Ellis kicking two penalties, while Stuart Cotterell crossed for Swindon.
Buchanan’s try and conversion made it 22-18, but two more Ellis penalties sealed the spoils.
Bicester won 46-12 at Hungerford, with seven players running in tries.
Dom Southey, Tom Bass, Jack Horwood, Dave Hampton, Will Morris, Richard Walsh and Dan Spencer all crossed over, with Spencer kicking a penalty and four conversions.
Harwell made it five wins from five in the BB&O Championship with a 27-7 success at Farnham Royal.
Paul Reynolds led the way with a try brace for the visitors, while John Froud-Davis, Luke Blewett and Joe Pigott also crossed over.
Dave Beaven converted Froud-Davis’s try for the second-placed side.
Tries from wing Paul Michael and lock Ross Worth, plus two conversions from fly half Mark Roberts were not enough to save Abingdon from going down 15-14 to Chesham.
Abingdon looked to have done enough to win, but saw two players yellow-carded and conceded an 80th-minute try.
Tries from Harry Collis, Jason Wilson, Josh Wells, and Mike Ridge helped Wheatley beat Didcot 26-17 in their basement battle.
Rory Stevens kicked three conversions, while Didcot’s points came through tries by Mark Rumble and Paul Costello, with Costello adding two conversions and a penalty.
