Oxford University captain John Carter sits out the match at Ealing on October 25 with a shoulder injury (7.45).
Carter will run his eye over a team that includes Jon Direen, making his first start at tight-head prop, AJ Connor, coming in at hooker, and Hamish Macdonald, back at loose-head.
Louis Mather replaces Carter at No 8, while the backline is unchanged against the National 1 leaders, who have won nine from nine in the league.
Carter said: “I caught my shoulder last week, so I am just resting it. I did want to play, but I have not fully recovered.
“It is a good opportunity for me to look at all the players that we have got.”
