Oxfordshire & North Bucks are celebrating promotion from Division 2 of the British Gas National County Team Championships.
Competing at Pond’s Forge, Sheffield, Oxon & North Bucks finished third out of 18 counties to clinch their place in the top flight.
Dorset were crowned champions, with Staffordshire runners-up.
Alex Murphy was Oxon & North Bucks’ only winner, taking gold in the boys’ 16/17 years 100m breaststroke in 1 min 2.95secs.
The Didcot swimmer also teamed up with Aaron Lee, Courtney Dos Santos and Matt Masters to take silver in the 16/17 years 200m medley in 1.47.75.
Caitlin Wheatley won silver in the girls’ 14/15 years 100m butterfly, finishing second in 1.04.70.
Jack Gosden-Kaye won bronze in the boys’ 14/15 years 100m breaststroke in 1.08.22.
And there was a third-place finish for Harry Basterfield in the boys’ 12/13 years 100m freestyle in 57.85.
Michael Esnouf, Gosden-Kaye, Adam Von Lokven and Chris Forshaw teamed up to take bronze in the boys’ 14/15 years 200m medley in 1.52.94.
In the girls’ competition, Rebecca Marshall, Jocelyn Ulyett, Lauren Ottaway and Natasha Pike finished third in the girls’ 16/17 years 200m medley in 2.02.86.
And the mixed 6x50m freestyle team of Masters, Forshaw, Basterfield, Georgia Tagg, Elizabeth Oliver and Marshall also took minor honours in 2.39.51.
Result (top four): 1 Dorset 476pts, 2 Staffs 458, 3 Oxon & North Bucks 430, 4 Scotland North 416.
