Oxford City Stars hope to have Wayne Fiddes and Chris Douglas back from injury for their English National League South Division 1 double-header this weekend.
However, Josh Florey and Dax Hedges miss tonight’s clash at Bristol Pitbulls (face-off 5.55) and tomorrow’s clash with unbeaten Romford Raiders at Oxford Ice Rink (6) after picking up knocks.
Stars coach Ken Forshee said: “We are hopeful of getting Chris Douglas and Wayne Fiddes back from injury and this will give us a big boost.
“We are viewing Saturday’s game as a must-win.
“Although our play has been mostly good over the last few weeks, we haven’t been rewarded with wins.
“So we are looking to get points to try to start to distance ourselves from the bottom-placed teams.”
