Eleven-year-old Katie Nutt from Standlake, put in strong performances in both the trick and slalom events in the under 12 girls’ category to secure the gold medal in the British Open Ladies’ Division 2 for tricks.
She also clinched silver for slalom in Division 3.
Nutt will receive her awards at the British Water Ski Federation annual ball in Stoke-on-Trent next month and will move up a division in both events next year.
In December, the youngster jets out to Orlando, Florida, to train for two weeks with top coaches Jodie Fisher and Nicole Arthur.
