Last month, I featured the story of young Liam Porter, from Littlemore, who landed a 23lb 10oz carp from Linears Brasenose 1 Lake, writes Andy Webber.
Well his dad, Rob has obviously been listening to his son’s advice because he had a brilliant 48-hour session on Linears Hardwick Lake.
Using a spod to bait up an area around 50 yards from the bank and New Grange boilies, Rob banked four double-figure carp, two twenties and two thirties plus another carp and a bream.
His best carp weighed 33lb 6oz and 33.12, the latter is known as the Zip Linear, which Rob is pictured holding.
