MICHAEL Duberry may have turned 36 yesterday, but his will to win is greater than ever, writes MARK EDWARDS.

And the Oxford United defender says that whatever his age, his attitude towards doing things right will never change – continuing with today’s trip to Macclesfield in npower League Two.

“I have really high standards and will always keep them if not improve them,” he said.

“That is how I have always played and that is how I will continue to play.

“Every game for me is about making sure it is as good, if not better than the last.”

Manager Chris Wilder must decide whether to stick with the same side that beat Bristol Rovers 3-0 last week.

United’s boss seems to have only one decision to make, and that is whether to recall Alfie Potter on the right-side of attack.

Potter was a substitute last week to protect a minor hamstring injury, but is back to full fitness.

Macclesfield have signed Chesterfield striker Scott Boden on a one-month loan, and he is expected to go straight into the squad, while Sam Wedgbury is available again.

Macclesfield: from Veiga, Bateson, Tremarco, Brown, Diagne, Brisley, Chalmers, Draper, Wedgbury, Tomlinson, Collis, Kay, Roberts, Grant, Fisher, Boden.

Oxford Utd: probable Clarke, Batt, Duberry, Wright, Davis, Heslop, McLaren, Leven, Haworth or Potter, Constable, R Hall. Subs from: A Hall, Smalley, Payne, Whing, Kinniburgh, Brown.
