Bradley Cox has underlined his progress by becoming the junior British motorbike trials champion.

The 16-year-old, from Begbroke, won the ACU Luscombe Suzuki Leeds British Youth A title with victory in the final round at Bracken Rocks in Derbyshire.

This was Cox’s third success in five rounds and he is now setting his sights on the European and World Championships.

Cox, who is a former Marlborough School, Woodstock pupil, rode his Beta-UK SXS supported 125 Beta Evo bike to a convincing win at the venue near Matlock.

From the word go, Cox had the bit between his teeth and put in two brilliant laps to open up a healthy lead.

Cox finished on the podium in each of the five rounds, winning the last three.

The teenager started riding trials four years ago, with Bicester Tyres and North Berks Motorcycle Club his main sponsors.

And he is now looking to raise more sponsorship to help him compete in the world championship.
