DAN Berwick is hot favourite to land the British Dirt Track Championship at Oxford Stadium tonight (7), writes ROBERT PEASLEY.
Berwick has been unbeaten in 18 races at Cowley this season, and he leads nearest challenger Ben Millichap by nine points, while Dean Hillier will also provide stern opposition.
Meanwhile, the Quad riders have been arranged into two teams representing Oxford and Reading, with the Thames Valley Trophy at stake.
Oxford are led by Welshman Ben Richmond, who won the April round of the Quad championship at Sandy Lane.
He is joined by teenagers Aaron Pole and Shaw Roberts, plus local rider Simon Crook.
Reading feature Quad Oval British Championship runner-up Danny Smith and veteran John Elliot. Pit and Motocross bikes also feature in a packed night.
