TADMARTON Heath will play Feldon Valley in the Shaw Gibbs Oxfordshire Foursomes League Knockout Cup final after edging out Drayton Park 2-1.
Matches one and three of their semi-final against Drayton were halved, but Ian Manning and Chris Lowe defeated Barry James and Darren Morton 5&4.
Feldon beat Oxford City in a play-off the previous week after the match ended 1½-1½ in regulation play.
The final will be at Burford on November 5.
In Section 1, Studley Wood maintained their slim survival hopes with a battling 2-1 victory over The Oxfordshire, who are now bottom.
- ARTHUR Ball’s Cotswold Hills side stormed to victory in the Five Star Team Event at The Oxfordshire.
Ball’s men shot 91 points to win by nine points from Barry Yates’s Studley Wood Stags on 82, with Geoff Coppock’s Studley Saturday Strollers third on 76.
The event, which supported the Footsteps Foundation, saw Bill Bingham, Barrie Hunt and Peter Cawthra win nearest-the-pin prizes.
