OXFORD MAIL GIRLS LEAGUE
DIDCOT Casuals stayed top of the Under 14 League after battling back to defeat Bloxham 2-1.
Casuals agreed to play a nine-a-side clash as Bloxham travelled with reduced numbers, but the visitors led 1-0 at half-time thanks to Chloe Stallwood.
Paige Wilcox equalised for Didcot, then with Bloxham tiring, a well-worked corner from Lou Chapple saw a clever flick on by Gemma Archer creep in at the near post.
Amy Williamson fired a brace as Tower Hill Vixens saw off Marston Saints Angels 4-1, with Frances Haining and Amy Westwood also on target.
Under 16
Chloe Billins grabbed the winner in Carterton’s 3-2 victory over Oxford City.
Ella Butler and Charley Hamilton had put Carterton ahead, but City levelled through Sammy Davenport, Molly Avery.
Rebecca Ritchie led the way with a four-timer as Marston Saints Angels defeated North Leigh 7-0, with Jodie Launchbury, Maria Everitt and Rebecca Siefers netting their others.
Under 13
Ten girls scored in Oxford City’s 16-0 victory over Kingham, with Lara Althorp and Megan Thorpe leading the way by grabbing trebles.
Miriam Pritchard (2), Shelley Knight (2), Alexis Parsons, Lily Hernandez, Lucy Hunter, Iona Smith, April Bedford and Lauren Page made up their haul.
Ellie Larkin hammered a hat-trick as Kidlington Youth defeated Stonesfield Strikers 7-0.
Emily Young (2), Rosie McCabe and Zoe Chung were also on target.
Under 12
Mollie Dyer’s treble led Didcot Casuals to a 7-0 win against Benson.
Katie Miller (2), Edie Stilwell-Garrett and Shannon Barrett completed the tally.
Under 11
Tower Hill Vixens Blue saw off Chinnor 4-1 thanks to goals from Holly Wilkinson (2), Anita Prosser and Ellie Smart.
Chinnor replied through Alysha Clarke.
Tower Hill Vixens Red, however, lost 3-2 to Stonesfield Strikers.
Stonesfield netted through Annie Mundy (2) and Katie Appleton, with Isabelle Henthorn (2) replying.
Rebecca Tolley bagged a brace as Banbury saw off Kidlington 4-2.
Morgan Hewitt and an own goal completed their tally, with Eva Wallace (2) replying.
