HENLEY Hawks held on to win 12-10 at Shelford and preserve their 100 per cent record.
The opening half-hour saw Henley full back James Comben miss two penalties, while Shelford fly half Harry Owens was off target with one.
Hawks wing Neil Baggett opened the scoring when he squeezed over in the right corner after 35 minutes, Comben converting.
Centre Steve Glitherow went close for Shelford, while Owens landed a penalty on 43 minutes.
Henley No 8 Matt Payne was sin-binned four minutes later, but he returned to burrow over for the decisive try on the hour.
Rampaging flanker Rupert Ransom set up a nailbiting finish with a Shelford try on 75 minutes, converted by Owens.
Comben missed a late penalty, but Henley sealed the win to keep track of the leaders.
