OXFORD United have been handed a home tie with Southend in the quarter-finals of the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy Southern Section.
And boss Chris Wilder urged No 2 Mickey Lewis to buy a lottery ticket after predicting the match.
United travel to face the Shrimpers on Saturday, November 5 in the league, with this match to be held on Tuesday, November 8.
“Mystic Mickey Lewis said that as soon as we had a look at the fixtures we would get Southend,” Wilder said.
“There will be a League Two club in the southern section final, so why shouldn’t it be us?”
SOUTHERN SECTION DRAW Quarter-finals: Swindon v AFC Wimbledon, Cheltenham v Barnet, Oxford Utd v Southend, Brentford v Bournemouth.
