Bicester opened their OBB Colts League campaign with an impressive 48-8 victory over Chinnor.

Led by flanker Dan Kimber, Bicester subdued Chinnor's powerful pack in the first period before running away with the match late on.

Bicester only led 17-8 with 12 minutes to go, but then ran in five unanswered tries.

Spencer was driven over for Bicester's first try on five minutes, which fly half Dan Barnes converted.

Chinnor No 10 Ollie Heath replied with a penalty before Spencer bagged a second try.

Visiting prop Paul Davies snaffled the ball and plunged over to make it 12-8.

Bicester hooker Joe McAneaney powered in for try No 3, but the real action came at the end.

Centres Matt Flegg (2) and Jack Briggs each crossed, with winger David McDonald also notching a brace of tries.

Barnes converted three of these as Bicester finished on a real high.
