BRIZE Norton Jets picked up their first win of the season as they beat Bucks Phoenix 63-31 in the South Region League.
The first quarter saw Jets take a 14-5 advantage, with some turnovers in defence from Claire Adams, Annabelle Bottomley and Kirsty Floyd.
In the second quarter, the points were shared 10-10, giving a 24-15 half-time lead.
Coach Clare Meridew’s tactical changes paid off as Jets won the third quarter 17-11 and the fourth 20-5 to wrap up a convincing victory.
