Last-gasp hero Matt Day (pictured) said he hadn't scored a goal from as far out for a long time as he celebrated his dramatic winner at Crawley last night.
The former Portsmouth player showed history can repeat itself as he advanced from the left back position to hit a 30-yard screamer.
It brought Oxford United a priceless 1-0 victory in their televised game, and stretched their lead at the top of the Nationwide Conference to six points.
