Simon Hole says his Shipton-under-Wychwood side are ready for the challenge of playing two finals on Sunday.
Shipton face hosts Great & Little Tew in the final of the Oxfordshire Cricket Board’s new District Cup competition at 10.30am.
And then following a brief break they take on holders Banbury in the Bernard Tollett Oxfordshire Cup final – also at Tew – at 2.30pm.
Skipper Hole, who has named a full-strength squad of 13, said: “It is a good opportunity for us to show what we can do. We have a good young side and we are up for it.”
Banbury are without the unavailable Richard West and Ian Tew, but Lloyd Sabin and Ed Phillips come into the side.
Captain Ian Hawtin said: “I am sure Shipton will give us a stern test.”
