Darren Elliott warmed up for the new English National League season in style, smashing five goals as Oxford City Stars beat their second string 15-1.
It was the perfect preparation for the new campaign, which gets under way this weekend.
A thrilling first period saw goals galore as the first team led 8-1.
And they kept the scoreboard ticking over for the remaining two periods as they took a commanding victory.
Elliott was the star of the show with a five-timer, three of which came in five third-period minutes.
Player-coach Ken Forshee and Josh Oliver each bagged hat-tricks for Stars, with their other strikes coming from Fraser Hendry (2), Dale White and Shannon Taylor.
Jeff Sykora scored the only goal for the second team.
Stars start their campaign at Slough on Saturday in South Division 1, with the second string at home to Peterborough on Sunday in South Division 2.
