GEORGE Seacole hit a four off the final delivery to send Shipton-under-Wychwood into the Bernard Tollett Oxfordshire Cup final.
Seacole’s boundary edged out visitors Great & Little Tew in a dramatic semi-final.
Shipton will face Aston Rowant or Banbury, who play on Monday, in the final at Tew on September 4.
Curtly Slatter top-scored with 27 as Tew made 117-8 in their 20 overs, while Ryan Newhook and Jason Hunt bagged three wickets apiece.
Charlie Brain (22) and captain Simon Hole (16) got Shipton’s reply off to a steady start, but Joe White removed four of the top five batsmen to give Tew hope.
Ian Lewis (19) and Seacole (18) put on an unbroken 27 for the seventh wicket.
Scores were level with one ball remaining, but Seacole hit Tew captain Andy Harris for four.
Hole said: “We didn’t really bat particularly well, but we got over the line.”
Shipton will also take on Tew again in the District Cup final as part of a double-header on September 4.
