Cublington beat Tiddington 2nd by one run to stay top and all but end their opponents’ top-two hopes.

Robin Pykett took 5-28 as Cublington were all out for only 129, of which Jamie Leggett contributed 58.

Joe Robinson’s 47 looked like taking Tiddington to victory, but Greg Jenkins bagged 4-32 and they were all out for 128.

Barry Grant’s 46 helped Banbury Twenty 2nd to 113-3 at Horspath 2nd, but Stuart Berry (4-26) then took a hat-trick and Ben Henderson bagged 4-11 as the visitors slumped to 125 all out.

Tom Chase (32no) steered Horspath to 126-5.

Richard Carr rolled back the years to score 104 and so help Thame Town 2nd secure a draw at Banbury 3rd.

The hosts had made 217-9 thanks to Justin Lambden (89) and William Briggs (50), while Alastair Thomas took 7-65.

Thame closed on 188-8 in reply, Paul Hill claiming 4-66.

Didcot stumbled to 132 all out at Brackley, Shaun Burningham hitting 45 and Matthew Lowe taking 4-41.

James Timmis then struck 46 as Brackley reached 133-5.

Freddie Walker (67) and Julian Penney (47) took Challow & Childrey 2nd to 209 all out at home to Cropredy 2nd.

Sim Hussain took 4-44, but ended on the losing side as Cropredy crashed to 122 all out against Walker (3-10) and George Hook (3-42).

Challow move up to a season-high fourth place.
