A SECOND-half burst gave Oxford City Nomads a 4-1 victory over Henley Town in the Premier Division.

Following a goalless first half, Henley went in front through Martin Abery two minutes after the break.

But this sparked City into action.

They levelled through Adam Morris, before Connor McDonagh fired Nomads in front.

Further goals from Jemaine Ferreira and Denel Thomas secured the points.

In Division 1 West, Headington Amateurs came from behind to see off New College Swindon 2-1.

Sam Brown fired New College in front on the half-hour.

But the defending champions stepped up a gear after the break.

Luke Cuff was twice foiled by the visitors’ keeper Alex Swatridge, before Jamie McCuaig levelled with a volley.

Two minutes from time, Headington sealed victory as Aftab Hafiz struck home after Swatridge had blocked McCuaig’s initial shot.

Letcombe picked up their first victory as four second-half goals gave them a 4-1 victory over Chinnor in Division 1 East.

They went in front on 53 minutes as Mark Denny drilled a shot into the bottom corner.

Lewis Craker levelled for Chinnor, before Adam Pendell restored Letcombe’s lead.

Mark Brind increased Letcombe’s lead with a precise finish after good work from Elliot Baldwin.

Ollie Woods wrapped up victory with No 4, before Chinnor had James Keeble and James Way sent off near the end.
