OXFORDSHIRE rider Bradley Smith could be racing against the likes of superstars Casey Stoner and Valentino Rossi in MotoGP next year.
Smith, from Forest Hill, near Oxford, is being considered for a place in the Monster Tech 3 team.
In his first season in Moto2 this year, he is seventh in the standings, having secured three podium positions – including finishing runner-up in the British Grand Prix at Silverstone.
Writing exclusively in his Oxford Mail column today, Smith says: “I have a lot of thinking to do and decisions to be make.
“I’m 20 years old and to be even considered for the elite class is a great honour.
“I also have to consider staying in Moto2 for another year and fighting for the championship.”
