With long-suffering Marcham conceding their OCA League Division 1 clash to Garsington, attention centred on the relegation battle as Minster Lovell overcame Tetsworth by five wickets.

The home side’s Caswin Morris scored 90 as Tetsworth posted 178 all out, Jamie Cross taking 4-30.

Minster eased home with more than ten overs to spare, led by Eddie Dunn’s 79.

Sam Willett scored 92 to help Great Horwood to a 20-run win over Charlbury.

Horwood reached 180-7 from their 45 overs, before Simon Ridgway claimed 4-41 to restrict Charlbury to 160-9.

Tom Young grabbed 6-29 to inspire Westbury to a four-wicket win at Shrivenham, who were shot out for 120.

Division 2 leaders Brough-ton & North Newington crashed to a 148-run defeat at Hook Norton.

Melvyn Riley scored 80 as Hooky rattled up 222-7, then Robin Scotter claimed 5-26 to help dismiss Broughton for 74.

Faringdon closed the gap on the leaders with a three- wicket win at Oxenford, who were all out for 113.

Witney Swifts fell to 79 all out and an 89-run defeat at home to Oxford Caribbean.

Watlington closed the gap on Division 3 leaders Chad-lington as they brushed aside East Oxford by six wickets.

Steve Strong claimed 4-35 as East Oxford were dismissed for 109, before Peter Smith hit 54 not out in Watlington’s 111-4.

West Ilsley eased to a nine-wicket win at Clifton Hampden, who could muster only 127 all out.

Najam Ur Rehman scored 99 to help Westcott to a massive 182-run win at Eynsham.

Philip Bateman (63) also starred in Westcott’s 278-5, before Nigel Douglas claimed 4-34 to skittle Eynsham for 96.

East & West Hendred beat Winslow by 84 runs.

Mark Baring hit 57 in Hendred’s 225-8, before Miles Martin (3-39) and Charlie Mulford (3-27) combined to dismiss Winslow for 141.

Hailey posted a mammoth 229-run victory at Oxford Rescue in Division 4.

Sean King (72) and Joel King (70) starred in Hailey’s 254-5, before Omar Hussain (4-10) and Andy Walker (4-14) ripped through Rescue for just 25.

Chipping Norton’s lead at the top was cut to a single point after they fell to a 49-run reverse at home to Radley.

The visitors posted 180-6 and Richard Cook claimed 5-14 as Chippy were dismissed for 131.

Matt Luxford scored 100 not out to help Britwell Salome to a nine-wicket win at Kennington.

The home side scored 202-8 as Graham Rowley (67) and Matt Thomas (56) shone, but Luxford and Stuart Symes (50no) combined to take Britwell to 203-1.

Deddington overcame Charlbury 2nd by five runs.

Manish Verma scored 104 in Deddington’s 241-9, Ramesh Chennagiri’s 4-45 restricting Charlbury to 236-9.

Fringford beat Wootton & Boars Hill by 57 runs.

Fifties from Ian Hedley and Dave Macdonald saw Fringford to 225-5, and Wootton were restricted to 168-9.

Kings Sutton re-wrote the record books with an incredible batting display against ten-man Ducklington in Division 7.

Ducklington watched as their opponents amassed an enormous 448-7 in their 45 overs – believed to be the highest in the league’s 106-year history.

Lee Humphrey led the way with 154, while Brody Chequer hit 76 and Mickey Sumner 69. Ducklington did not help their cause by conceding 60 extras.

They were then dismissed for 105 as they succumbed by massive 343 runs.

Division 5 leaders Cairns Fudge powered to a 146-run win at Uffington.

Hugh Anderson-Elliott scored 77 in Cairns Fudge’s 240-7, before Tom Small returned 6-23 as Uffington were shot out for 94.

Wantage maintained second spot with a six-wicket win against Great Horwood 2nd.

Chaz Boshell took 4-42 to help dismiss the visitors for 175, Barry Martin’s 56 not out steering Wantage to 176-4.

Steve Lewis scored 100 not out and Graham White 89 to help Chesterton thrash Cassington by 195 runs.

Chesterton posted 288-4, and then Simon Morse claimed 6-28 in Cassington’s 93 all out.

In Division 6, James Neal’s unbeaten century helped Dorchester to a 108-run win over Chalgrove.

Neal’s 116 not out and Richard Sharman (74) saw Dorchester to 253-6, Chalgrove falling to 145 in reply.

Stanton Harcourt stayed clear at the top with a 51-run win over Shrivenham 2nd.

They had crawled to 127-9 against some tight Shrivenham bowling, before John Woodward claimed 6-29 as Shrivenham were rolled over for 76.

In Division 8, an unbeaten ninth-wicket stand of 66 helped Oxenford 2nd to a two-wicket win over Combe 2nd, who made 213-7 as Mark Francis (59) and Steve Dobson (56) shone.

Oxenford edged their way to 217-8, Ranga Nathan hitting a valuable 41no.

Simon Gamble starred with bat and ball to help Sunningwell to a four-wicket win at West Ilsley.

Gamble claimed 5-36 in West Ilsley’s 170-7, before hitting 30 not out to steer his side to 171-6.

In Division 9, East & West Hendred 2nd closed the gap on leaders East Oxford 3rd with a crushing 111-run win over Witney Swifts 2nd.

Britwell Salome 2nd did likewise in Division 10 as they beat Watlington 2nd by 45 runs.

James Taylor’s splendid 123 in Broughton 2nd’s 306-5, which set up a 231-run triumph over Hanney 2nd, was the highlight in Division 11.

Meanwhile, East Oxford 3rd lifted the first silverware of the season when they crushed Britwell Salome 2nd by nine wickets in the final of the Keith Crump Centenary Cup at Wootton & Boars Hill. Idris Mohammed claimed 5-13 as Britwell were shot out for only 77. Amazingly, 72 of those were scored by two players, John Hayden hitting 40 and Andy Barron 32, with five batsmen getting ducks. In reply, East Oxford cruised home at 79-1, led by Usman Asif’s 31 not out.
