Horspath 2nd were knocked off the top when they were outplayed by Didcot while Cublington were beating Thame Town 2nd.

Didcot made 240-3 from their 53 overs, with Simon Pritchard (77) and Henry Brisland (67no) to the fore. The final three overs produced 47 runs.

Julian Hitchman took 5-21 as Horspath limped to 167-9.

Greg Jenkins claimed 7-46 to help Cublington dismiss Thame Town 2nd for 167.

Gary Porter hit 50 for Thame, but the visitors reached 168-5, with Stephen Godfrey hitting 56 and Jenkins 39.

Johnny Clarke took 4-21 from nine overs as promotion-chasing Tiddington 2nd wrapped up victory at Cropredy 2nd in double quick time.

The hosts were rumbled for only 82 after electing to bat. Tiddington eased to 84-3 with Andrew Willis on 34 not out.

Banbury Twenty 2nd fell even further behind the rest at the bottom after a ten-wicket defeat at home to Brackley.

Henry Newby took 6-21 in Twenty’s 118 all out, then Eric Carpenter (67no) and James Fowler (38no) took charge.

All four results were possible in the final stages of Banbury 3rd’s clash with Challow & Childrey 2nd.

Banbury had made 223-9 thanks to Neil Megson (56no) and William Briggs (41), while Rory Moore took 4-40.

Rob Owen (93) kept Challow in it, but Clark Berry (4-36) and Andrew Stevens (4-67) left them clinging on at 213-9.
